Finally winter has made its way to the island. The days have become much shorter and the temperatures have dropped dramatically. At night the temperatures can reach below freezing, a layer of frost on the ground left behind in the early morning. For now only the bitter cold and arctic winds are what have resulted in the change of season. However, as the season progresses, the hint of the first storm is present in the brisk air.

December 31st/08;;I'm Sorry Hey everyone, I first off wanted to apologize for my lack of activity on the site. I have had a lot of things going on so maintaining my activity has been difficult these past few weeks. I also wanted to inform all of you that I am considering moving the site to a new url. The reason being that I think that we need to start fresh. That means new members, new territories. Characters however, can be transfered over to this new version of Paw Prints. I also want to do this to start the site and really make it my own. I took over this site from Zani, so a lot of the things that you see are her ideas and not mine. I would like to add a more personal touch to the site in order to really make it the best that I possibly can for you guys. I really appreciate those who have continued to remain active in my own absence. This month we will not be doing member of the month or character of the month due to the fact that only one or two active members have been recently online. I will update more when I think of it, seeing that I am going to try and raise my activity level once again.

December 1st/08;;New Month Well it is the first day of December! I wanted to first and foremost announce the new Nura pack leader, Honeyfur! Congratulations Honeyfur and thank you to the other members who auditioned for this role. Your auditions were wonderful and it was a tough decision to chose only one of you. Next I would like to announce December's MotM, Honey fur as well as December's CotM, Diablo, roleplayed by Kinetic. Congratulations to both of you, you each deserve this honor. Finally the season has changed and therefore, it is now winter. Please make sure to role play according to the season. I am still developing a plot, so i will post that when I figure out all the plot details. What I can tell you is that it will involve all wolves. When I say that I mean leaders, pack members, and loners. So remember to stay active because we will need everyone's participation. Until then, stay active and keep roleplaying everyone!

Out on an island away from human civilazation lays the lands of the wolves. This island is large, and provides everything a wolf needs to survive. It's a paradise, but it can also become a personal hell. In the beginning, there were two packs living in peace. Nalani and Minu pack. Xavier, a elderly male wolf led Nalani Pack, where Zelda, a beautiful yet ancient female led Minu. Peace went on for centuries. When Zelda died, an force pushed the packs to split. A young wolf named Xerxes couldn't stand the paradise. Everything was too perfect. He fought his way, shattering Minu into two new packs, Agana, and Nura.

A decade after that, Xavier died, with him, Nalani pack died too. Again, a fight broke out, and the pack of peace seperated. Hades and Livvy pack were then formed. Now, four packs roam the island know as Naminu Isle. Agana, the wolves of darkness that strive for the taste of blood. Nura, the perfect and loving pack, sticking fast to the old traditions of Nalani and Minu. Hades, the sly and cunning pack, secretive and tricky. And finally, Livvy, the pack that shows they're power with strength, phyically and mentally. Around every corner there is danger, or prehaps an adventure. Dare to join in? Will you be the next leader, or will your blood be the one smeared on Agana's fangs? Why not take that risk...
